Encampment is a work that includes video, documentation, and installation. The installation is built from the cardboard signs I gathered from people standing on the city street corners and medians under the ramp, downtown, and in the Civic Center. The video is a collection of the images and personal stories I gathered from the homeless while searching for building materials. It illustrates the diverse views and opinions about the citiczens who use cardboard signs to explain their situation, request aid, and send blessings to those who pass by.
